ONLINE ORDERING
- HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER:
You can browse the items in the online catalog and add them to your shopping cart. When you have finished shopping click the checkout tab at the top of any page. You may now review you order. Remember when you submit your order in the secure server, any items you make after that time will start a new order, so be sure you have all you need before you submit your order for the final time. MOST orders are shipped within 24 hours. If we have the items you requested in stock and if we get proper verification, or order will normally be processed and shipped the next business day. If you place an order Friday night or over the weekend, your order will not be shipped until the following week.
YOUR ACCOUNT:
You can now create your account on the Direct Sports® website. Customers that have an account, will automatically be emailed UPS tracking numbers when their order ships. And have the ability to check past orders and track them on the website for 6 months. Orders shipped by means other than UPS will not be included in the tracking system. If you are an international customer and your order ships Global Express mail you can request the tracking number be emailed to you in the comment section of your order form. Customers are not required to create an account and can place orders through the website without accounts, but will not be able to track their orders.
- CREDIT CARD ORDERS:
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We are required to verify the correct name and address on all credit card orders with the bank that issued the card. If the name and/or address does not match with what the card issuing bank has on file your order will NOT be shipped and you will be notified.

- INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Different shipping rates apply to orders shipped outside the CONTIGUOUS United States. This includes APO, FPO, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, etc. Free shipping does not apply to any package with a final destination outside the contiguous United States. Shipping to the aforementioned areas may at times require additional shipping.
If you are a customer and your credit card issuing bank is in a country other than the United States, we must verbally verify your address with your bank. You must provide your bank name and phone number. We must verbally verify your address. We will be unable to ship the order without proper address verification.
Certain countries have adopted a privacy act which stops us from verifying your billing address. We ask that you fax a copy of your credit card statement to 1-540-921-1475 attention international ordering department. This is the only way we have to obtain address verification. |

This is the best and most efficient way to ship. It can be tracked and delivery time is 3-5 days.

- CHECK POLICY:
- We do accept personal and company checks. To place an order with a check please call us at 1-800-456-0072. We reserve the right to hold check orders 10-15 business days after we receive the check and before shipping the order.
- SHIPPING:
- Rates apply to packages shipped ONLY within the Contiguous U.S. by UPS ground service. For packages shipped outside of the 48 Continental States (including Alaska, Hawaii, and most military addresses), or packages that CAN NOT be shipped via UPS Ground Service, additional shipping charges may apply. Heavy weight orders that must be shipped by the Postal Service (USPS) will require additional shipping costs. The total shipping cost will be provided to you before your order is processed, usually via E-Mail. Express shipping is available. Charges vary depending on the weight and destination of your package. The last page you see when completing an order is the options for shipping page. At that point you can choose an option. Air shipments placed after noon, eastern time will NOT be shipped until the next business day. UPS does not count Saturdays, or Sundays as business days. UPS DOES NOT COUNT THEY DAY OF SHIPMENT AS A SHIPPING DAY. THIS MEANS, IF YOUR ORDER A BAT 2ND DAY AIR ON TUESDAY, AND EVEN IF IT SHIPS TUESDAY, IT WILL NOT BE DELIVERED ON WEDNESDAY. IT WILL SHIP ON TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY IS A TRANSIT DAY AND THURSDAY IS THE DELIVERY DAY. If you place an order on Friday morning NEXT Day Air, it will NOT BE DELIVERED until the following Monday. If you place a 2nd day air order on Friday morning, it will NOT BE DELIVERED until the following Tuesday. If you place an AIR ORDER after noon on Friday, it WILL NOT BE SHIPPED until the next business day (Monday)

- Orders shipped to the State of Virginia are subject to 5% sales tax. At this time we are not forced to charge tax on shipments to any other state.
BACKORDERS:
Out of stock items ordered online will be automatically backordered. You will be notified via email of the backordered item and an approximate ship date. Your credit card will not be charged for the backordered item until it is shipped. THE ITEMS THAT WE HAVE ON THE WEBSITE ARE MANY OF THE ITEMS THAT WE OFFER THAT ARE ALSO IN OUR PRINT CATALOG. THEY MAY OR MAY NOT BE IN STOCK AT THE TIME YOU PLACE AN ORDER. ITEMS THAT ARE OUT OF STOCK FOR A LENGTHY AMOUNT OF TIME WILL BE NOTED ON THE WEBSITE. IF YOU PREFER, YOU CAN INCLUDE A COMMENT WITH YOUR ONLINE ORDER TO CONFIRM STOCK, AND YOU WILL BE EMAILED BACK. During the busy season, it is very difficult to keep popular items in stock at all times. And backordered items normally arrive back in stock within two weeks. If you have any questions, at all about an item that may or may not be in stock, do not hesitate to either email us, make a comment with your online order, or call our customer service department at 1-800-456-0072.
- RETURNS:
- Any item may be returned for exchange or refund provided it is unused, in the original packaging and is returned within 30 days of the purchase date. Please call for authorization before returning any merchandise. REFUSED PACKAGES RETURNED TO DIRECT SPORTS FOR REFUND WILL HAVE A 10% RESTOCKING FEE OR THE ACTUAL COST OF RETURN SHIPPING APPLIED WHICH EVER IS GREATER. Shipping charges are NON refundable.
- WARRANTY INFORMATION:
- Most items in the Direct Sports® catalog have a manufacturer’s warranty which is passed directly to the customer. Direct Sports® has no control over the terms of the warranty. Items that do not have a warranty are clearly noted. Many companies prefer that you deal with them directly on defective products. If you have a defective item, we will be happy to assist you in receiving a refund or replacement as quickly as possible.
